High Vibrational Events in DC: Oct 15-20th
Howard's 100th HOCO + new perk for paid subscribers
Hi Sunshines,
I had such a cute weekend! From taking my dad to yoga classes, herb stores, farmers markets, and trying out new restaurants, to celebrating birthdays and spending hours wrapped up in a book, it was the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor activities.
My dad came to visit this week, and I hadn’t seen him since last October (for context: I grew up in Nigeria, and my parents still live there), so it was so nice to spend time with him and show him around. I took him to Friends In DC, and he had an amazing time. He also picked the perfect time to visit since it's Howard HOCO season, and he’s a proud Howard alum!

THE VIBES LATELY
Reading: Still tandem reading Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn
Eating: on a little bit of a gut rest. I did find some lychee at the Mexican Market, it was so good!
Listening: Bobby Nsenga has finally returned to YouTube, gracing us once again with his playlists that I get completely lost in. I’m listening to one right now as I put this newsletter together.
Hosting: Content Creator Bootcamp Week 2
Running: I ran my fastest time and longest time so far on Saturday: 10:18 avg pace, and 3.77 miles. It might not seem like much to some, but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

Small Business Spotlight
Bitter Grace is a lifestyle and sustainable clothing brand located near NOMA, in Union Market District. In addition to their in-house hand poured candles, made of organic soy and essential oils, they have recently added oil diffusers and oil rollers to their inventory of home essentials that are made of natural ingredients (available in store and online).
As the holiday season is fast approaching, they are offering the ability for folks to personalize or customize their own oil diffuser and/or oil roller. Great for gift-giving or treating yourself to a special item that elevates you and your home.
No appointments are necessary and every personalized oil diffuser or oil roller takes roughly 10-15 minutes to create that you can immediately take home with you upon completion.
Bitter Grace is located between the main market and the Gables Apartments Building in Union Market District (1325 5th St NE, Suite D, Washington DC 20002).
